thanks to royston, he designed the dream card.
its almost ready for printing. i cant wait to give it out. LOL!
and its already 66 days to go! more things to do, with less time on hand.
its the nitty gritty things now.. and i'm not a 'C' person =P but Mr is. very 'C'.
have no mood to work, but no choice, its super peak now. in fact all the way till next year March and more?! hmm.. just dreaming of the AD!

i have been to a number of weddings since September and every bride's gown is beaded and intricate. i was starting to wonder if i have made a wrong choice. mine is pretty.. simple looking. i like to call it the "vera wang" gown. =P

i subscribe to VW email updates, and she mentions for one of the Q&As as follows.

"...simplicity is also a statement...The absence of detail is a deliberate, and powerful, choice for your wedding dress."

IM HAPPY with my gown! i cant wait to wear it more than looking forward to the whole wedding. oops =P

myself, kai and ming that i shall stick to combined HM and dinner.
no more changes. its gonna save the hassle and ka-ching
we will reward ourselves with a better honeymoon =)

so wedding photo-, card-selection done.

in oct
1. design my inv card insert (hmm im not going to have it in chinese or with any 'xi' word anywhere, think i can get away with it =P)
2. confirm my helpers
3. confirm the guest list
4. stay slim and pimple-free, lol

i have 6 more weddings to go, almost 2 per month.
its making me anxious to have a perfect wedding
to be a beautiful bride like they are. and everything falls in place.

woohoo! finally did our casual photoshoot, with great company of richard, imelda and linus!

it was fun! i never had done so many jump shots in a single day =P i cant wait for the pictures to be out and see the end product- MY coffeetable book!

oh gosh! wat meant to be done 6-8 months before wedding day, i have not done it.
i was looking through the checklist on church website and i realise there are so many things left hanging.
*faint* ming is now driving me to work.

by end of this month, i shd settle
1. HM venue
2. Photo selection
3. Banquet Inv card selection

with kai's 2-week reservist and exams coming, its me to take it on!
nxt month, i must settle
1. helpers list- so you people out there can block the dates, hee
2. HM inv cards
3. guest list
4. caterer

that's all i can think.
ming, let me know if i missed out anything more important than these stated! =)

love these chunkys! nixi always tells me not to go for dainty strappy bling shoes. =) pink, blue, studs.. go for it!

tomorrow i will get some updates on tentage quotations. we'll see how it is and then decide again should it be an outdoor holy matrimony. if it is so, it will probably be in the late afternoon, shant torture my guest (and myself!) under the hot sun. =P once this is settled, i can move on!!!!!!

will be choosing my BS photos at the end of the month.. erm, not really looking forward to it. not too sure how it will turn out to be. on the other hand, we are so blessed that richard is helping us for a casual pre-wedding photoshoot which i want to make it into a coffee table book. im so excited for it! i have a concept in mind and it will be fun! =)

cant wait to shop at Paper Market for invs!

from the start, i never want a normal veil. birdcage, headpieces. i even went to purchase a headpiece shipped from f21 for my photoshoot!=)
maybe classic is the way to go. this will be nice.. i have been looking for a nice flower pin.

i wish for
a garden wedding.

being on this sunny island and the unpredictable weather, i'm not sure if it will be a great idea. i do have fort gate reserved, but there are just so many constraints. (anyone got GOOD deals on tentage?) nonetheless, i love this and im still clinging to the small chance of it being realised.

WK and I have been writing to other churches for their halls as well. most are not open to non-members while those who responded to us are way expensive. so nothing has been fixed and its 131 days to go!!!! (WK is waiting for me to make a decision =p)

the other alternative is to use JW hall on sunday evening. the thing is.. WK's picking the bride up on sat morning and the dinner's on monday evening. it will be a very EVENTFUL weekend.

there is a last option that will save alot of hassle, but...

there are too many BUTS and i aim to settle this in a week or two. once this is done, the rest should be quite a breeze.. lol.. *fingers crossed!*

anyway... how cute is this?!!!?? next will be the inv cards to settle...
